One of the nice things about summer is the headspace to think about the direction of my music. When I’m teaching, there’s time to create, but sometimes the bigger picture just gets a little fuzzy. This year, things were still a little blurry when I headed into summer and it wasn’t really until I started putting together this sketch that I started to get a bit of clarity. The process of writing writing and recording this song helped me reconnect with the bigger picture and see the path towards the future.
